Operational Support Group of Indian Air Force as Permanent/ Short Service Commissioned Officers

IAF invites application from young Men and Women to Join Operational Support Group of Indian Air Force as Permanent/ Short Service Commissioned Officers for The following :

129th Ground Duty Officers' Course (GDOC) for Men
22nd Short Service Commission (SSC) Course for Men
38th Short Service Commission (SSC) Course for Women
Pay Scale :
Rs.15600-39100 with Grade Pay, MSP and other allowance
Age :
20-23 yeas for Graduates, 25 years for PG, 26 years for LLB, 27 years for M.Ed., Ph.D., CA/ ICWA
Qualifications :
1. Administration & Logistics : Graduation or Post Graduation in Art, Science, Commerce, Management, Engineering or LLB.
2. Accounts : Graduation or PG in Commerce or ICWA or CA with B.Com/M.Com.
3. Meteorology : PG in Science, Geography or MCA (Physics and Maths should be at Graduate level)
4. Education : PG in English / Defence Studies / Psychology / Maths/ Physics / Statistics / Computer Science / Management OR M.Ed. after PG OR Ph.D. in the above said subjects.

Fast Track Selection(FTS)

Indian Air Force will conduct Fast Track Selection (FTS) at New Delhi & Greater Nodia for short listing of candidates for Aeronautical Engineer (Electronics ), Aeronautical Engineers (Mecanical) and Meteorological branches .Traninig will commence on January 2010.

Eligibility Conditions

Qualification : Aeronautical Engineer (Electronics / Mechanical) : BE/ BTech with minimum 60% marks in aggregate in all papers put together in selected disciplines and such other requisite qualifications specified for 76 AEC / 48 SSC (for Men & Women)
Meteorological Branch : Minimum 50% marks in aggregate in all papers put together in MCA / Post Graduation in Science or Geography provided Mathematics and Physics were taken at graduation level (Criteria of having Mathematics and Physics at graduation level is applicable for both MCAs and Post Graduates ).
Age : Aeronautical Engineer (Electronics / Mechanical): 18 to 28 yrs as on 01.01.2010 i.e. born between 02.01.1982 and Jan 1992.
Meteorological Branch : 20 to 25 yrs as on 01.01.2010 i.e. born between 02.01.1985 and Jan 1990.
Note : All the candidates below the age of 25 should be unmarried.
